Today, we are thrilled to announce a series of promotions at the leadership level that signify a deliberate and exciting evolution for our firm. These changes will not only bring greater visibility to exceptional talent within BAMO but also set the stage for continued growth, innovation, and sustainability.

As you know, our firm has thrived for over 32 years on the foundations of exceptional client service, groundbreaking design, and a diverse team brimming with talent. With a passion for crafting spaces that inspire and delight, our founders laid the foundation for a firm that’s committed to pushing the boundaries of design.

Today, we celebrate those values by welcoming Addy Williams to our Principal ranks alongside Anne, Gerry, and Michael, with Pamela serving as Principal Emeritus.

Addy is more than just an operations whiz; she’s a facilitator at heart. Her exceptional communication skills and unwavering commitment to bridging perspectives make her the glue that binds our team together. She sees problems as opportunities to learn and grow, always ready to listen, lend a hand, and champion diversity of thought. Addy’s journey at BAMO exemplifies our commitment to nurturing talent and recognizing exceptional leadership. As she says, “Great ideas blossom from collaboration, and that’s what I live for – fostering an environment where every voice is heard, every challenge met, and every project shines.”

We’re also thrilled to introduce our eight newly appointed Associate Principals: Alan Deal, Amaza Lam, Ashley Venturini, Elaine Hwa Smith, Janet Mercier, Lauren McGuier, Martin Oestlund, and Ryan Barr.

These exceptional individuals represent the heart and soul of BAMO’s future. They have long been leaders in their respective domains, shining brightly on projects and within our tight-knit team. With their well-deserved promotions, they’ll be gaining the recognition they truly deserve, both inside and outside BAMO. Each brings a unique perspective and expertise, from operations and mentorship to sustainability, design innovation, and business development. Their ascension to Associate Principal roles ensures a stronger, more diverse leadership team, paving the way for continued growth and innovation.

Anne shares her perspective on why we’ve chosen to elevate multiple team members simultaneously:
