As the brand’s first location in Brazil, Four Seasons Hotel São Paulo has set a new standard for five-star elegance, style and hospitality. For locals, the hotel represents an opportunity to experience Four Seasons in their home country, and for international travelers, a chance to visit modern Sao Paulo at its best, a vibrant cultural destination, and thriving center of international commerce.

Interiors take cues from Oscar Niemeyer’s bold strokes of sweeping modernism and the organic abstraction of Burle Marx. Bold and evocative modern, the design is international luxury rendered in Brazilian materials and infused with classic Paulistano flavor. Playing to the strengths of the local resources became a driving factor in the design, in addition to adhering to Brazil’s import laws, and resulted in many sustainable design solutions. Each space features and highlights Brazilian materials and craft, resulting in feature finishes that are unique and unexpected.

Though inspired by the design approach of Brazilian greats, BAMO did not want to mimic any style specifically. The resulting interpretation captures Brazilian soul, fusing relaxed modernism with artful details and sensuous materiality, crafting a story that appeals to the world traveler and local design enthusiasts alike.
