Solitaire Tower

“We find ways to respect the grandeur of the architecture, while making it friendly, human; always trying to bring a residential feel to the interiors.”

With majestic twin towers rising 41-stories in Taichung City, Taiwan, Solitaire offers luxury residential living just blocks from the celebrated Metropolitan Opera House.  Stately in scale and finish, the project includes 80 units in each tower plus public amenity spaces including drop-off lobby, lobby and galleries, tea room, libraries, boardroom, VIP room, business center, spa and fitness center, media and music rooms, lounges, party rooms, restrooms, elevator lobbies and cab.

The entry rotunda is a grand space cloaked in stone with ceilings soaring four stories.  Richly appointed transition spaces lead to a grand gallery filled with light, art, and well-placed greenery.  Above, a cloud of crystals form a sparkling ceiling sculpture.  The library, VIP room, and business center are smaller in scale and more intimate.  Reminiscent of a garden pavilion, the tea room is cheery with layered whites, apricot accents, and hand-painted de Gournay paper.  A glass box on the 41st floor serves as a residents-only club, complete with unobstructed views.
