Steve Henry is a Principal at BAMO.  With over 25 years of interior design experience, his work has appeared in Architectural Digest, Interior Design, House & Garden, and Town & Country.

Raised in Arkansas, Steve moved to Texas to attend university and launch his interior design career, first at The Oglesby Group and then with Staffelbach Design Associates.  In 1992 Steve’s artistic talent and contributions to the industry were recognized when he received Interior Design's Outstanding Achievement Award.  That same year, Steve relocated to San Francisco and joined the interiors department at Skidmore Owings & Merrill.

In 1993 Steve joined BAMO as a staff designer.  Steve was promoted to Associate in 2000 and became a Principal of the firm in 2003.  Steve's responsibility as a Principal-in-Charge is to generate and oversee the execution of design concepts that integrate aesthetic and practical elements in comfortable, memorable surroundings.  A brilliant and prolific designer, Steve is able to quickly communicate ideas to clients and staff through his captivating sketches and paintings.  His hospitality clients include Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, Lake Austin Spa Resort, Robert Burns Hotels, Exclusive Resorts, and Taj Hotels Palaces & Resorts.

Steve's projects include the Grand Hotel a Villa Feltrinelli on Lago di Garda, Italy; The Taj Mahal Palace Hotel in Mumbai, India; Four Seasons Hotel Boston, Massachusetts; Lake Austin Spa Resort in Austin, Texas; The Ritz-Carlton Club and Residences, Kapalua Bay, Maui; Exclusive Resorts Ho’olei and Kapalua Bay, and The Houston Country Club.  Steve is also responsible for all aspects of interior architectural and furnishings design for many private residences in the U.S. and abroad.

Steve earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Interior Design from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas.
