Marketing & Business Development Coordinator

BAMO is seeking a motivated, organized, design-savvy, and flexible individual to support our Marketing, Public Relations, and Business Development efforts. The Marketing & Business Development Coordinator will support the Principals and Director of Marketing & Business Development in all internal and outward-facing marketing efforts. Elevating the BAMO brand through creative campaigns, the goal is to continue to develop and grow our reputable client list and highlight the talents of our creative design team.


  • Manage all internal marketing collateral including digital templates, printed brochures, business cards, stationery, and other BAMO Identity materials
  • Create custom brochures as needed for targeting leads, drawing on familiarity with BAMO’s projects and prospect’s hot buttons
  • Maintain Salesforce CRM and Lead Development database
  • Design and coordinate e-mail campaigns using iContact for Salesforce
  • Prepare custom presentations for Principal speaking engagements, conferences, and panels
  • Coordinate award submissions with relevant design team members
  • Update BAMO website, including content creation for BAMO Blog
  • Generate content for Social Media channels (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram)
  • Design advertisements and graphically-driven promotional materials, as needed
  • Organize and maintain digital assets library, including some Photoshop editing


  • Assist in the assembly and delivery of RFQ/RFP Responses, including creation of relevant custom brochures and collateral
  • Assist in research and online sleuthing regarding potential projects, partners, clients; stay up-to-date on industry news
  • Assist in maintaining editorial/PR calendars, update press archives with all recent mentions;  assist PR firm in gathering relevant pitch information, distribution of press releases, and various public relations efforts
  • Assist in managing firm-wide graphics templates
  • Assist in the coordination of project photography, including styling when needed
  • Assist in conference and event preparation

Job Requirements

  • College-level degree required (preferred in Marketing, Communications, or related field)
  • 3-5 years professional experience in Marketing role for an Interior or Architectural Design firm
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Excellent writing & editing skills
  • Creative graphic sensibilities
  • Strong sense of self motivation and follow through
  • Highly organized and capable of juggling various tasks and deadlines
  • Team player who is positive, easy-going, and flexible

Technical Requirements

  • Adobe Creative Suite (including InDesign, Illustrator, & Photoshop) required
  • Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) required
  • CRM Software (Salesforce preferred)
  • Email Campaign Software (iContact preferred)
  • WordPress and/or HTML desirable
  • Marketing Automation experience desirable
  • ISSUU, iTunes, Dropbox, Hightail, GoToMeeting desirable
